Description

The goal of this course is to provide you with the ultimate simulation of the management of pan-facial trauma. You will be working in pairs, and from the beginning of the course you will be provided with the CT scan of a traumatised cadaveric head. You will then have the opportunity to work on this same specimen in the lab. With the assistance of your peer and of the faculty, you will be guided through the diagnosis, planning, surgical exposure, reduction and fixation of the pan facial fractures. The course itself is structured to give you the most hands-on practical experience with the maximum time being spent working on the specially prepared, fresh frozen cadaveric specimens.
